A nephroscope is used to remove stones measuring one-third of an inch (1 cm) or larger. Nephroscopy is also used to: Remove kidney stone fragments. Remove small tumors. Remove foreign bodies, such as a stent that was previously placed.The rigid nephroscope is an optical instrument which allows one to inspect the renal cavitary system and to perform different therapeutic procedures. The nephroscope of the BUCK brand is manufactured by EMOS Technology GmbH. The sophisticated design of the fiber optic system makes the product a high-end endoscope. An opening angle of 85°, a viewing direction of 5° and 40.000 pixels provide not only a good view, but also an excellent image. With its well-balanced design, the handling and use of the nephroscope is very comfortable.
